As Americans, we can choose where we work and live, what we drive, which insurance plan is best for us, so why can we not give workers a choice when it comes to their retirement?

Many workers who are closer to retirement can be tempted to consume rather than save.

If I were to live knowing that I would die, I would rather choose not to live after all.

Thanks to President Bush and Republican principles, businesses now have more confidence to hire workers.

Based on this report, the choice is either for pensioners to lose over $100-billion in promised retirement benefits or for taxpayers to get slapped with a $100-billion bill for failed private pension plans. Neither is acceptable.

Happiness is the freedom of choice. The freedom to choose where to live, what to do, what to buy, what to sell, from whom, to whom, when and how.
