Our Lord Jesus Christ now wants all Christians to get into a sense of urgency in our preparation for His second coming.

The Second Coming of Christ is essentially the revealing of the internal sense of the Word.

I close my eyes, gripping the empty clothes closer to me, shaking my head against the truth.

Try to stop them...
But they come, nonetheless, until finally I just stand here—not running, not even trying to escape. “You my dear, will suffer seven years of tribulation. You will be left behind...

The Lord seeks to establish status quo before His return. He is gathering His sheep, His birds, His people under His wings, under His authority, His Kingship, the only authority and Kingship of our Lord God and Master, as in the times of Abraham, Moses, Isaac and Jacob.

May I never neither turn left nor turn right in my journey of life, but may I go straight to Christ that I may do what is right, and I may be bright and right in His sight.

The death of Christ is their meritorious cause; the Spirit of God and his effectual grace their efficient, working instrumentally with power by the word and ordinances.
