Apparently we didn't win enough games.

Going into the league tournament, we know that anything can happen. No team out there is invincible and everyone is starting at 0-0. It's a great time of year to still be playing basketball.

The seniors have done an awesome job of keeping it together. There was never a doubt in their mind, even when we went on that one stretch . They never thought that the next game they weren't going to win.

We will miss Charmaine. ... She brought a toughness to the team that will be missed. With that said, it is important that everyone else steps up and carries us forward. We did a good job of that against Oakland (a 73-58 win). ... We didn't worry about it and just played and we need that effort again Saturday.

It all seems to be coming together at the right time for us. We've been able to play well in back-to-back games and we were able to do some good things on both offense and defense and be able to create chances off of both very well.

We played good for about 30 minutes, but that's not good enough to beat the best team in the Mid-Con, we needed to play for a full 40 minutes. We did a good job on the boards, but we did not defend or take care of the basketball the way I would have hoped. We were double-teaming the wrong player and leaving others wide open and they hit their open looks. We have to regroup from this and be ready to play [at UMKC] Monday night.
