Anytime you can beat a team of that tradition (AC) it's a pretty good win.

Chad Friend is wrestling pretty well. Schendel (24-1) beat Friend, and Wilder (25-2) beat Schendel. All are in the state rankings, plus (Allen) McClure of Southern Wells is 23-5. It should be a pretty good weight class.

It'd be nice to win both. I don't know if we've ever done that here. It should be really close. We have to get some help and have some guys step up and see how it goes.

Hopefully, it comes down to the wire and any of those three teams have a shot.

I just want to win a couple matches. I had a pretty easy draw, but then it got tough because they had to redraw my bracket, so I just want to win a couple matches and go as far as I can — basically just go down there and have fun and win if I can.

We're working on the passing game. The backs are pretty quick. We'll have to throw a little more [than last year]. We got up to 6 or 7 percent passing last year, we're looking at 15 percent this year.
