Anyone can be a teacher or professor, but not everyone can influence you to strive for excellence and make a difference in the world around you.

Be careful of what you tolerate, discern what is worth confrontation & stand your ground.

He meant so much to us and I don't like to use the word teacher or professor because he was so much more than that. He was a wonderful man. He gave you his time; he gave you his attention. He made you feel like you were his only student.

The beauty of a teacher's writing is seen, when he/she writes the word 'Excellent'

I never dreamed I would be doing a Ph.D., ... I never dreamed I would become a professor. I certainly didn't dream I would become a dean or the president of a university.
