Any restrictions in the market that don't allow people to freely buy and sell leads to less access. With this bill they will now be able to get tickets and access to any event without restrictions.

I can count on one hand the number of times we've had a fraudulent ticket issue. If you want to sell fraudulent tickets, you're much better off doing it outside the venue on game day.

If players are playing well, the fans want to see seem them; they don't care about steroids or other controversies.

We believe an efficient and open market benefits all entities: the teams, the venues, the artists, the promoters. They'd rather have someone sitting in the seats than have empty seats. An empty seat is lost revenue in concessions, parking and merchandise.

I think it's unconscionable for a Senator from Massachusetts to come down here and tell the people of Florida what's right for them. It's arrogant and irresponsible.

We're in uncharted territory. We're seeing more people going to prepay than ever before. I think we'll look back on 2005 and say 'Remember when we used to be trusted to pay for our gas?
