And you can't make that stay true if all of a sudden one compromises in a couple of episodes and is madly in love with the other person. I think they're wanting to develop that over time.

It's been a really cool ride and a crazy year. It was not expected to be 13 episodes -- it was four and then it went to 13 -- so it was kind of all over the place, but I feel good and I am excited to get on with the new year. I've got a little bit of an idea [of what will happen] and I'm excited to get in there and explore more of Lois and see where they're gonna take her. With the last episode that we shot, showing her watching everything that's happening, you don't really know where she goes or what she does, so for me the excitement is seeing how this moment of tragedy is going to add a new color to her character.

I look forward to change, but there is a part of me that absolutely dreads it.

We all need to make time for a burger once in a while.

It's fun to get to play a lead character that goes all the way through and drives the storyline and makes the final discovery and catches the bad guy.

I constantly have anxiety about being the lead of the show. I don't talk about it because it scares me. But I've always wanted to be part of something where I could work on a character in such a big manner, and you get offered that with all the trappings of being the lead of the show.
