And without disparaging Rent in any way, shape or form, the best music in all of Rent are the chords taken from Puccini that are echoed through it.

This show will make you laugh, it will make you cry and will leave no question in your mind as to why Puccini is hailed as one of the greatest opera composers of all time.

Aside from perhaps the famous scream at the end of door No. 5, I couldn't tell you how that music sounds. You will not go home humming the tunes. But I think you go away from the theatre changed, haunted by the imagery.
