America has stuck behind New York, and we are extremely appreciative and grateful.

But as more and more SARS cases are discovered here at home, it's time for us in New York to get the same expert advice to prevent a full-blown outbreak.

We need that bill passed, ... New York City is doing a great job on homeland security, but their resources are stretched as far as they can be stretched, and we're not getting the help from Washington that we need.

How was it we were so far behind the curve that it was almost laughable. It just makes my jaw drop to think that on 9/11 or 9/10 the kind of technology that is available to most school kids and certainly every small business in this country, why isn't it available to the FBI?

I cherish them all, just grateful to have them.
