Am I supposed to vote for someone I think does not represent my interests, my principles, or the interests of this nation for fear that not to do so will allow another candidate who does not reflect my interests, principles or the interests of this nation to become president?

I fear that the "democracy" we allege in this country is an illusion, another deception with which to lull the masses into compliance and complacency. Rather, we live in a "Corporatocracy," government by and for the profit and the greed of the privileged class. Tragically those that suffer under its yoke have little cause to "sing, dance, and smile."

The likes of Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, and Rush Limbaugh are court jesters, tolerated, even celebrated by the privileged and the wealthy as instruments of power intended to create and foster divisiveness, fear, and hatred among the poor and working classes of this country, against Muslims, immigrants, teachers, trade unions, etc., in order to divert attention from their agenda of exploitation and oppression and from their crimes against humanity both here and abroad.

First they turn us into killers in order to fight their immoral and illegal wars but would rather not know the specifics of what it is that they trained and conditioned us to do. Should we stray from the mythology of nobility and honor, however, and allow them access into our world, and insight into the true nature of war, they are repulsed and outraged and think us crazy and a threat to "normal" people.

War is war. By whose command people are unecessarily dying is irrelevant. Hold war criminals accountable regardless of political party. If your son or daughter was killed in this war, would it make a difference if it was Bush, or Obama, or Romney, who ordered them to their deaths?

LBJ, Nixon, Bush, Obama, Democrat, Republican . . . makes no difference to the dead and the dying.
