Alyssa did excellent today. She still makes some freshman mistakes, but she gels very well with the other girls.

It feels great. I think they were a little more relaxed today. It's hard to teach them to forget about the last point and move on, but they did that today. We're hoping that will continue into next week.

Most of the girls are playing their first year of ball ever, and today girls were actually connecting with the ball, not just walking or striking out.

It's going OK. It's a nice, slow learning curve. It's like with anything, you're going to make mistakes here and there. I expect that but I'm not accepting it.

It was a very frustrating game. I know our girls can execute. We just made too many mistakes.

Because the girls don't make as many mistakes at zones, if you make more than one little error, it can cost you from making the NCAA Championship.
