Almost all of the city employees received a 1.5 percent increase this year, and to give any more to the appointees would be a slap in the face to the 6,000 employees.

I encourage our employees to care for themselves and their families, and thought this would be a great way to inspire everyone to get in shape together.

Employees may want to move things like boats or a hobby car, but those things are typically not included. Unless it's outlined in a policy, the company could be paying more than it expected.

The board and officers are very involved, and some employees felt it was not appropriate and chose not to work under that.

It reduces healthcare costs and enables employees to work better. It's also so much fun for everyone.

We are short-staffed now so any increase in load will make it worse.
