All the Spanish and the black people eat lunch downstairs, and the white people eat upstairs.

What about the dress code? If a Hispanic girl shows just a little bit of skin, you get a referral. White girls can wear skirts as short as they want.

Why can't I come to school until 12 p.m.? This shows us how the school really is. Other principals supported their students. We want to know why our school is doing this to us.

These young people are smart,

It's stressful for the caller and it's stressful for the call-taker. People assume they know where they are. We do not.

This gets the library's name out there. We do get people that find the library because of it. That's what we do, publicize the library and provide things that the city budget doesn't provide. And it's fun.
