All of us, even the myriads among us who have emotional problems ranging from the light to the serious, have far more hope for the future.

All these
problems were building up down there. The schools in Louisiana opened the week before
Katrina hit and they were already laying off teachers because they were $45 million in
the hole. Half the people in Louisiana are on welfare or Social Security or some other
kind of assistance, so when the hurricane hit at the end of the month they were all out
of money. It's more than just the hurricane.

We don't see any real problems in California. But what happens nationally does affect us locally.

Their zone really gave us a lot of problems tonight. It's difficult to be successful if you give the ball away.

The economic opportunities are huge and the problems are just as large. For those of us who have done well, we have had to endure bigger difficulties compared with in the West but also made significantly greater returns. You need to be prepared to fight it out. The assets are cheaper and the economics are better but you need to be prepared.

You can keep an eye on what is (happening) on all the buses. It has helped us find problems, and helped us save a few kids.
