All closers go through this. For two weeks, I've been in a big slump.

I'm pitching like [ineffectively]. There's no explanation. They've been hitting my best stuff. No excuses. There are no excuses in this game. If they hit me, they hit me.

I don't feel it is fair. Morris doesn't get one day and I get four days and $1,500 (fine). I don't think it should be any days. I wasn't thrown out of the game.

It's got to be Mariano Rivera. No question about it. He was successful in the postseason, and he's got over 300 saves. And then he has 30 or 40 saves in the postseason.

No question about it, I'd like to get that first hit. It would be nice to get at least one before I retire.

I have reached a limit in my work.
