Adam was pleased with his race, he held on much longer than in the Olympic final.

He's very close to being to able to control the race from start to finish.

It was a race to see who was going to get that first championship. It was a relief to get the first one out of the way for the school.

We were very pleased with how the team fared this week, it was a first big step towards the Beijing Olympics. We have some solid depth and we are seeing a lot of improvements in the men's kayak crews.
