Adam had a big game and so did our other big kids. We had bigger guys than they did on the interior and Adam and Nathan (Gibson) did a great job on the inside.

Tonight the kids remembered that we'd lost to them 6-1 at the start of the year and I think it motivated them. These guys get up for big games, they really do.

Our defense has carried us the whole year. Johnson, for a sixth grader, has done an excellent job running our team.

Early on our inside-outside game was working and it allowed us to jump out to a quick lead. Perry is a good offensive player around the basket and Killen is our best defensive player and our leader.

The guys played hard, we just came out on the wrong end. They had the size and the speed and were versatile. We ran into a good team but this was good for us. Maybe now we can get over the hump.

Drew is tough as nails. It was our team defense that won the game for us. We were able to close out their shooters on the perimeter. It was just a great team effort.
