Acid runs through his body all the time. High levels of acid all the time. It got to the point his kidneys failed.

We were told that he could have a kidney transplant but chances were that in a couple of years his kidneys would just fail again.

It's OK to hope again. It's OK to look into his future now where as we were never able to do that before.

We never gave up hope and we never gave up our faith that we would get him through this somehow and that we'd have people that would help us get him through this.
