According to the latest numbers we're putting together now in Pittsburgh, that area has the highest percentage of structurally deficient bridges. About 32 percent of the bridges are structurally deficient.

Pennsylvania has the third-highest rate of structurally deficient bridges in the nation. This is behind only Rhode Island and Oklahoma. Pennsylvania has 25 percent of their bridges in structurally deficient condition.

Between District 12 and District 11, which takes in Allegheny County, there are the highest percentage of deficient structures. We are well above the statewide average of 21 percent.

Pennsylvania's infrastructure throughout the state is aging rapidly. This will continue to be the case unless the state can find the funds to put toward the transportation system.

It would impact us horribly if they put in a smoking ban. There's a large percentage of our members and a large percentage of our bingo players who smoke.
