A Western-style democracy in Afghanistan is a dream. I don't see that as a reality anytime soon. But I think some form of representative political process is not that far-fetched.

You work in a band, and it tends to be more like moviemaking, I think. It tends to be more of a conscious, verbalized and, to some degree, political process.

I think the political process is important and we don't shy away from that. But there needs to be a balance. In the public sector, we have promoted (the balance), but we haven't achieved it yet,

Anyone who wants to be part of the political process should adopt values that are compatible with democracy.
