A transition period is a period between two transition periods.

Life is like a house. It needs a good foundation (infancy) and support beams (preschool, toddler and school age). There are minor repairs (adolescents) that need to be assessed and fixed. The house is then sturdy and ready to enjoy (adulthood). As the house ages (elderly) it may need minor touch ups. However, with a good foundation and structure we can enjoy it for years to come.

Each work has to pass through these stages – ridicule, opposition, and then acceptance Each man who, thinks ahead of his time is sure to be misunderstood.

Idealistic notions that guide a younger person frequently prove unsustainable. Concluding any stage of life demands that a person rebuilds oneself after living destroys our ideological beliefs.

I am not a man of my time. In fact I find it hard not to declare myself its enemy. Not, as I often remark, that I fail to understand it. My comment is merely a pious one. Because I am easy-going I prefer not to be aggressive or hostile and therefore I say that I do not understand those matters which I ought to say I hate or despise. I have sharp hears but I pretend to be hard of hearing, finding as I do that is more elegant to feign this handicap than to admit that I have heard some vulgar sound
