A PL government would be built on the values of meritocracy, honesty, and what is in the country’s interests

Malta needs to stand up and be counted at a European level, to ensure that Malta gets what it was promised and what it deserves.

There was a limit to how much a government could reduce its spending, but a Labour government would invest more in key areas of the economy that yielded growth, such as tourism.

Solidarity, had to be meaningful and not just a word. Malta would keep insisting that it should be helped and would raise its voice if necessary. We are good but not gullible. We are ready to help but we have to be helped as well

Do not be influenced by political parties on the divorce issue. We are still waiting Prime Minister Gonzi to say that all PN supporters are free to vote as they wish". Our country needs to be more European, more compassionate and tolerant. Even if I am alone speaking on these rights, it is fundamental for our country to be compassionate and tolerant

Labour would also promote a discussion on the living wage to ensure that all workers had a salary which enabled them to have a proper standard of living. This, would not be an imposition, but a discussion leading to consensus.
