A majority of these outlets will be in new cities. A lot depends on the location we get in these cities but we will also consolidate our hold on the bigger cities.

The WHO has confirmed that eating cooked chicken is safe. The cooking temperature for poultry meat should reach 150F/70C and at KFC, we cook our chicken well above the minimum temperatures required for safety. Also, the chickens are routinely inspected to ensure that they meet or exceed all public health and food safety regulations.

A significant chunk of this operation will target the big cities - especially Delhi and Mumbai - as we would like to tap these markets first.

For example, the national capital region in and around Delhi has about 30 outlets and we think there is serious potential for more growth.
