A lot of these umpires, they think that fans come to the stadium to see them. It's not right. Right now it looks like they have full power in baseball. They can do whatever they want and they get away with it.

I've battled so many injuries this year. Right now, you look at the situation -- where we are in the standings -- why keep risking my body? The best thing for me right now is rest. Let these other guys play. I don't think I have anything to prove to anyone.

Fifteen hundred? ... I don't know how many fifteen hundreds I've given away. It would be much better just to be fined and not to get a suspension.

It's a month left in the season, and I still remember what happened last year, and here we go again. Because I know it's a lot of people that have been waiting for me to go off again. I know that.
