A lot of the kids congratulated me (after the game). I, of course, congratulated them. ... Their attitude has been good. They want to win. We're getting to where we can pull it off.

The kids went into that game with the attitude that they had nothing to lose. They wanted to test themselves, and they put up a good fight. It's the first game we've played three complete periods.

I tell you, we needed it. It's something we truthfully were looking forward to. The kids played well. Hopefully, it will carry over.
