A lot of it has to do with being better organized and asking people to get more involved. This plan isn't heavily based on funding initiatives. It's a lot of things that can be done on the local level.

We want to know what kinds of uses people think are appropriate around the arena and how they'd like them to look.

These are just ideas right now. We need to have a lot more discussion.

We all have the right to think about our taxes. But TABOR is not the answer, and in fact could create more problems than it solves.

The essence of our argument is the people who did these things ... prior to the enactment of the ordinance are grandfathered in, ... The ordinance is trying to come in and make things criminalized after the fact, and you can't do that.

We wanted to make sure the businesses and people who also have made significant investments on Dickson were the first to see the changes. One hundred percent of the people there seemed to support it. They all seemed to be excited to see what it could do for their businesses.
