A little taste of success makes you want more. When I get a little bit of success, I want to work that much harder because I want that feeling again.

Even guys who haven't been down here wrestling before have been in the stands when we came back from a tough (quarterfinals) or a tough opening day and won, say, 10 matches in a row. They know that once you get on a roll, it's real big.

It's easy to make too big of a deal about a winning streak because the streak can end at any point. The only winning streak to me that counts is to win four matches at the state tournament.

We got a little taste of postseason success last season. Now I know they want to get more of it this season.

What this is all about is getting a taste of success. It doesn't matter who you beat, once you know what it takes to win, you'll work harder and that opens up other opportunities.
