A life without problems is a life less likely to be.

Problems look mighty small from 150 miles up.

Every pearl started as an ordinary piece of rough stone. The irritation and pain caused by it bring out tears in the oyster which in the process covers and smoothens the rough object. The result: it's a shiny beautiful pearl. Now, you know what's happening inside you when you're in pain.

Don't just wait. Ask for the right person. Don't settle for floaters. Be specific. Believe. And once you have that person in your arms. Love, support, protect and be happy with that person. God loves a cheerful taker.

We must keep on trying to solve problems, one by one, stage by stage, if not on the basis of confidence and cooperation, at least on that of mutual toleration and self-interest.

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.
