150,000 American troops are bogged down in a quagmire in Iraq because the Bush administration misrepresented and distorted the intelligence to justify a war that America never should have fought.

While the Bush administration is prepared to spend $100 billion to rid Iraq of WMD, it has been unwilling to spend more than 0.2% of that sum... this year on the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

The Bush administration, for reasons that I don't understand, was not ready with a plan to secure Iraq and to begin quickly to turn it over to the Iraqis, and bring other countries in to share with us both the dangers of keeping the peace, so our soldiers wouldn't be the only ones being shot at, and the cost of rebuilding Iraq, so our taxpayers wouldn't be the only ones paying the bill.

Make no mistake about it! There is an organized movement against organized labor and it's called the Bush Administration.

If [Bush administration officials] were referring to Niger when they were referring to uranium sales from Africa to Iraq ... that information was erroneous and ... they knew about it well ahead of both the publication of the British white paper and the president's State of the Union address, ... I do not think the decision to invade [Iraq] was a mistake, ... I would agree with the Bush administration that Saddam was a nasty enough guy.
